FYC hosts its annual Singing Spree for Year 2 school children and their teachers.

Join all three FYC Choirs for their summer celebratory concert.
The world premiere performance of Ian Fletcher’s oratorio Jonah, based on the biblical story.
The theme for the evening is “The Sea”. The first half of the programme comprises performances of The Hebrides Overture by Mendelssohn, Senta’s Ballad, Daland’s aria and the duet between Senta and The Dutchman, all from Wagner’s The Flying Dutchman, and two items from HMS Pinafore and The Pirates of Penzance.
The performers for the evening will be the National Symphony Orchestra, London Symphony Chorus, Farnham Youth Choir, soloists Katerina Mina, Ashley Riches, Morgan Pearse and Henry Waddington, conducted by John Andrews – over 200 participants.

FYC, currently ranked within the top 50 youth choirs in the world (Interkultur) is proud to be competing in its home country this year. This is the first time Interkultur has held an international competition in the UK, so do come and support us!

Our Senior Choir members are organising a concert to showcase their musical talents and to raise money for the choir to compete in the World Choir Games in New Zealand 2024.

FYC will be singing again for the annual Civic Service, organised by Farnham Town Council.
Tickets are allocated via a ballot run by the Farnham Herald. Details of how to apply will be in the newspaper on 14th and 21st November.

The Farnham Youth Choir performs as part of the Farnham Festival alongside local secondary schools. The Youth Choir performs their own set of songs as well as joining the schools singers for the world premiere of Melanie Thorne's Time to Change Our Ways which was commissioned by the Festival.
